Another feature of the new billing/support system we put in place is that it allows each customer to change hosting plan at any time and in real time, the amount billed for the concerned period automatically taking into account even multiple changes.
This allows you, for example, to switch to a more economical plan after having reduced the size of your site by erasing all
unnecessary files stored on the server, or during a particularly quiet period with not much bandwidth use.
Conversely, you can choose a plan with more disk space
when adding a lot of content to your website, or with more bandwidth available, following a
marketing campaign or your participation in a trade show, when you can anticipate
a spike in traffic.
Another circumstance in which it is appropriate to change plan is when you realize that significant quota overruns are regularly billed. In this case, it may be more economical to simply choose another hosting plan giving you enough space and bandwidth margin so as to eliminate any risk of exceeding your disk space and/or bandwidth quotas.
To upgrade / downgrade your hosting plan:
- Follow the link "My Services" in the "Services" menu.
- View the details of the plan in question by clicking on its name in the list.
- In the menu on the left side of the new page follow the link "Upgrade/Downgrade" and choose the new hosting plan and the payment frequency that suits you best for this service.
